I loved staying here! I was here for two months on assignment and it was so nice to come home to a nice beautiful place! There's some good restaurants around the corner that you can walk to and I never had a trouble finding parking, though it is street parking. The complex-type setup was always clean and well gardened, and the administration was very prompt and helpful when I had a smoke detector that wasn't working or tv batteries that went out! Very much enjoyed

I would recommend this place. It was exactly like the photos on the listing. Clean, quiet, private, and tidy. WiFi, TV, and Laundry machines were ok. But you will have to let the clothes air dry, as the drying function of the machine is not 100%. Having the fan, heater and air-conditioning was great, as it can get both cold and hot in the same day. The bed was a bit hard, but bed sheets and pillos were clean and well maintained. Communications with the team was good and they were always trying to help with any issues-requests in a timely manner. If you have a car, the location is good. Don't count on public transport if you need to be anywhere before at least 1 hour. Or be ready to spend a lot on taxis. It is more of a residential area, with not many walking options for food, shopping, or any sort of entertainment. Still a great place and I would stay here again.

Loved this little apartment. It was so well planned and thought out and has literally everything someone could need in it! From the design to the kitchen gadgets, it has it all. Quite little street, 5-10 min drive to anything you need.

Small place with everything you need

We had to go to San Diego for medical reasons. The house is only 12 minutes from the hospital. There was seven of us including three children one of which is a one year old. Being in this house was a life saver. It was convenient to not only the hospital but to many shopping centers and restaurants. The hot tub and barbecue came in very handy. I would definitely recommend this house.

The home was great for our family. It was very clean and bathrooms and kitchen were all well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. We had a small issue with bathroom sink draining and the company responded immediately and had new drain installed and fixed very quickly. There are lots of restaurants and shopping close by and it is convenient to the zoo, beach and many other fun adventures!

Thoughtful, very responsive, great space to stay. In short if your not staying here while in SD your missing out place was amazing the people where always there to help and you are super close to everything!

The house is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, the landlord is great, the care is very good in all aspects. I stayed in this unit for a month, with my husband and our cats. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our staying - from kitchenware to fluffy blankets. The backyard is adorable and the jacuzzi is really nice! The hosts are nice and responded all our messages quickly. We had a nice time with no problems at all, totally recommend!

These hosts were one of the best I've had. We had an unexpected event and they were more than happy to accommodate. They met us there personally and showed us how to operate everything and where to find everything. The location was amazing being in the center of everything!

This sleek and modern space was a wonderful place to stay while I was working in San Diego. It was the nicest house on the street, it's not that the street was particularly bad, but from the outside it's rather unassuming. There was very little foot traffic too, which made the place feel safe. The pool area was very secluded and cute. We spend a ton of time in the hot tub, grilling and hanging out back there. The location was great. From the zoo, the gaslamp district, Pacific Beach, everything was at most 20 minutes away. I stayed here with a few colleagues and we all heavily recommend this place.

House was very comfortable and clean. Plenty of sheets, towels, etc. and the kitchen has plenty of dishes, pans, appliances. We even made Thanksgiving Dinner there. Spa tub and pool are nice additions. Note that the second bathroom is near the pool, so convenient for backyard relaxation time.

Nicely appointed, upgraded space with comfortable outdoor area. Great for BBQ, reading by the fire or taking a jacuzzi. Location is very convenient to South Park, downtown and freeways. Thoroughly enjoyed our monthlong stay. Highly recommend.

Great back yard and convenient location.

This apartment was clean, cozy, and came with all of the essentials you'd need for a short or long stay. The bed was very comfortable, the number and quality of amenities were above average, and the neighborhood felt safe and quiet. Check in was a breeze, and street parking was available about 20 feet away from the private entrance. You will need to walk up a few stone steps and open a gate to access the entrance, so keep that in mind. There are numerous grocery stores and shopping centers just a mile or two away, and it felt like it was only a 20 minute drive from everything. Very conveniently located. I stayed here for 5 weeks and highly recommend this property.

This unit is a converted garage of a larger vintage house that has also been divided into rental units. As of February 2020, the conversion is an older one, with loose floor tiles and aging furniture. One of the other units was being updated during my stay, so I expect this one will be soon as well. Let me start by saying the unit is perfectly functional if a little worn, and grounds and amenities of the building at large are excellent. It is smaller than it appears in the photos, especially the bathroom which is so small that a person larger than myself would not be able to us it (I'm 5'10 225). The size of the bathroom is the only real limiting factor for the unit. The kitchen is well equipped. There were issues with the dish TV service while I was there, but I expect they'll be worked out soon enough. One gripe is the unit faces the street and has a large picture window that looks onto the one and only parking space that the the entire building has. This means you get a nice view of the car that belongs to unit B (not yours). At night, this can be kinda crazy because you get the headlights of the parking car directly into your living room. I had the roll shade closed most of the time for that reason which is too bad because that made the unit darker than it needs to be. There isn't another window treatment on that window. It really needs some privacy curtains that would still allow light to enter, but not put you on display for the neighborhood. Perhas the best feature of the Unit is Ozzy, the manager. He was VERY helpful with my requests for help and is there tending to the units almost every day. You can tell he takes great pride in his building.

I stayed here for a month. Communication was great, Rachel and Ozzy were very responsive. Lots of cool amenities in the space. Thoughtful touches to include cookware, toiletries, and pretty much all basic essentials you need like when you're at home. Neighborhood was quiet and safe, no issues with parking. Great location very centrally located between downtown San Diego, close to the hip neighborhoods around Balboa Park, not far from the beach as well as La Jolla. I also worked the majority of the time, good Internet inside the space and plenty of work space at the desk. Enjoyed my stay!

Wonderful very convenient place to stay!

This is a fantastic find if you’re looking for a place to stay. Golden Hill has been one of my favorite neighborhoods since I’ve been stationed here in 2015, and this spot solidifies it. The area is extremely quiet and calm, and the unit is perfect for anyone looking to stay somewhere safe, clean, and right near just about anything in San Diego. There’s plenty of space inside with a very nice bed and couch, television, and kitchen with everything you need. The outside is beautiful and we often spent evenings in the nice weather relaxing when we didn’t have anything else going on. Furthermore, communication between the host was excellent for any questions we had. Would highly recommend this and definitely stay here again if I needed to!

Very convenient spot close to a shopping center with restaurants, and only a couple miles from I-5. The hosts are awesome, friendly, and great to talk to. The apartment is plenty private and the entrance is tucked back by a couple avocado trees and some black and blueberry bushes. The interior is wonderful, has a brand new flat screen tv, a full kitchen except a dishwasher, and even an espresso machine. Great stay!

A lovely, welcoming place with awesome additions of a BBQ grill, fire pit and Jacuzzi. The outside space has loads of well cared for plants and modernised furniture. Inside is extremely clean with all the things you need - a great home away from home. Would highly recommend and stay again if in the area!

The location is perfect! Very close to downtown and easy to get anywhere because it’s right off of the highway. The house is very clean and has anything and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The laundry room is very nice and super convenient to have.

Good location for a short stay in San Diego. I stayed here while my place was under construction, and it met my needs for 10 days. A bit small, but has everything you need!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this place!! The studio was a perfect fit for the two of us and we felt very comfortable all week. Communication with the hosts was easy and they responded so quickly to all the questions we had. The outdoor amenities were amazing!!! We grilled almost every night and the fire pit and jacuzzi were perfect for the colder nights we had during our stay. All in all we fell in love with this place and are so happy with our stay!!

I stayed for a week. The outdoor amenities were great, including the Jacuzzi, grill and patio/lounge area. Indoors, the space was a bit smaller than I expected. No closets or microwave. Worth it if you take advantage of the shared spaces outside.

This is a very cozy and quiet apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Clean, with lots of natural light and walking distance to local coffee shops, restaurants, parks and small markets. We even walked all the way to the harbor! There is a laundry room, grill and beautiful yard on the back of the property. If you have a car, parking is not too bad, the furthest we parked was two city blocks away, but we mostly park right in front of the unit. We recommend this place and would stay here again if needed!

Upscale. Quiet.

First of all, the place was a lot more spacious than expected. Loved the view of the city when we took our dog for a walk, the scenery was just beautiful. However we thought that we were going to have the back yard to ourselves but that was not the case at all because there were other rental home with people.

Property owners are great! Super friendly and helpful. George the gardener is helpful too. We highly recommend this place as a really comfortable tiny home away from home. Thxs for an awesome 3 week stay in SD. Everything is at your fingertips and it is a quiet family neighborhood with a safe feeling for all.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property in Golden Hill. The home was clean, had everything we needed (full kitchen, air conditioning, parking, laundry) and the location was amazing. This was our first visit to San Diego and every day when we'd decide what we wanted to do, we were surprised at how close we were to everything. The neighborhood is very quiet (I can't remember hearing noise at night once) and there are places to eat within walking distance -- we ended up having breakfast multiple days at a coffee shop that's just a couple blocks away. The king-size bed in the unit was very comfortable, and there were plenty of places to sit and relax between activities (we really enjoyed the patio in the backyard). Overall we are very happy we rented this unit and hope to rent it again on our next visit to San Diego.

The place is located in a quiet resident district, where several supermarkets are in walking-biking distances. Furniture is cute and clean. The owner responds swift. You can enjoy a safe and cosy stay. It was really wonderful for us!

Great owners and very well maintained property!

My family and I stayed here while I was recovering from colorectal cancer surgery. It was close to UCSD Moore’s Cancer Center and easy access to groceries and everything we might need. The pool was chilly and the weather wasn’t warm enough for it to be fun. You can pay to heat it but we decided not to. Everything else was great.

Overall experience was great. Great place to lay your head after a fun day downtown or at the beach. The only issue we had was immediately addressed and fixed. You can tell that they take hospitality seriously. Two thumbs up from Texas!

We stayed here for a month in late Fall and the pool and spa were a real treat! The house is beautiful and centrally located. The backyard was perfect for BBQs and pool weekends. Our hosts were friendly and very attentive! Highly recommend!

My parents, siblings and I (5 people) stayed over the new years and it was truly a great location! The 5 Fwy is two blocks away, and if you are up to it, you can even take a 40min walk to downtown downhill from the house. The house is great! We cooked bbq two days using the one in the backyard and even spent sometime near a newly renovated fireplace. The rest of the days we had breakfast at the house with a fully stocked kitchen. I really recommend this place because you really get a great value for the price.

Awesome place!!

Small but super clean and well appointed. We were very comfortable here. The fridge was a bit noisy at times and the bed was average but the tv, internet, fruit trees, and computer workstation area more than made up for it. The neighborhood was also quiet, close to walking trails, and parking was never a problem.

This property is a gem. Great house with everything you need for a fantastic vacation or business stay as was my case. It was awesome to come "home" and just relax. The house is well situated with easy access to San Diego attractions. The home is clean, well furnished and just plain comfortable. What made this stay really special was Rachel. Professional, easy to work with and a good communicator. This was a "no worries" trip thanks to her being so good at what she does. We will be back!

I was relocating from the east coast and needed a place to stay until I could buy a place. This studio was perfect. It was beautiful, clean, quiet, and private. It had a nice kitchen and bath and all of the little things, such as kitchen and glassware and an iron and ironing board. It was just a few minutes to the beaches, work at UCSD and the airport, and just seconds from every form of shopping. There was Wi-Fi in the unit and free laundry around back. Rachel and Ozzy were great people who offered tremendous, genuine hospitality.

I feel blessed to have met Rachel and her amazing family! My girlfriend and I were amazed by the hospitality and kindness. The Studio was perfect with everything you will need. It is clean and really nicely furnished. Rachel is a really aware and caring host, she has my biggest recommendations!

Great place to stay

I hate to give this place a five star because I want it available every time we visit San Diego but I can't do that...this place is worth more than five stars! The amenities were outstanding, extremely thoughtful and intentional. It is a quaint space that literally has everything you need! Our family was comfortable and we had above and beyond what we even knew we needed. Thank you so much! We were even able to have a mini bbq on our last night there. This was definitely one of our favorite San Diego visits.

The place is just as pretty in person as in the pictures. The space was just what we needed for our time in San Diego and the pool and spa was amazing. The location was good, everything was 6-10 miles away and easy to get to. Not much within walking but lots within a very short drive. The hosts were also great, very responsive.

We had a great stay at R&R Vacation Rentals. We were two families staying and there was a lot of space for us all. The beds were very comfortable and the location was quite central to the freeway (we went to Legoland and drove up to Carlsbad and also to the Marina to take in a sailing cruise. The hosts were excellent and very helpful. They had good suggestions in a handbook for food and places to see. The house is nicely set up and modern feeling. We recommend staying with them if you are in San Diego.

We spent at Rachel’s place a wonderful week in August. The house is very cozy and you can fully trust that pictures reflect the reality. We were very impressed by the pool - very clean and deep enough for adults. Bathroom near the pool is an excellent idea and its quality does not differ from hotel one Inside everything perfect for 4-6 persons stay. Very comfortable leaving room with dining room plus 3 bedrooms. Two TVs both with Netflix. Kitchen equipped with more than necessary stuff Very good location and calm neighborhood. During our stay we didn’t have any unpleasant incident Ozzy was very helpful and showed us around the whole property. Both Rachel and Ozzy were available during our stay This was our first time with Airbnb and given this experience is likely not to be the last one

We had a fantastic time at this house. Rachel and Osiris were great hosts and very accommodating. The house was very modern and clean, and it had a very large backyard. The hosts had the whole house prepared and even went the extra mile with flowers. The location was also excellent, close to the beaches and downtown La Jolla.

We had a great time as a family and enjoyed staying here for 16 days. The house is beautiful and perfectly furnished. Also, when you first get there you will find a fully stocked kitchen with all the necessary staples. The appliances are spanking new and everyone is in great working condition. The best part of the house is that the outside of the house is beautifully integrated and the windows to the living room and master bedroom open all the way.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is perfect size for our family of five, we have two big boys and a girl. The house is exactly like the picture. I like the open kitchen, I cooked breakfast and dinner every day. We walked to the beach sometimes and ice cream after dinner. Our favorite "Taco Stand " is just a block away. My husband and I had it for night time snack for few nights. The neighbor hood is quite and safe. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and quick response. I will definitely recommend it!

This is the 2nd time my friends and I have stayed at Rachel and Ozzie's listing and if we could, we would stay over and over again! They are one of the best hosts in SD. Very responsive and accommodating, the location itself is in the center of SD. Rooms were comfy and the pool/spa was fantastic. If you have to pick a listing in SD, pick this one or one of their other listings!

We absolutely enjoyed our experience and found this home was perfectly suited for our family. Things that stood out include the cleanliness, ease of access, great location, fantastic kitchen, and the pool and spa. Nights were perfectly breezy out back and filled with sun all day! We stayed for over a month and the few minor issues we had were handled by Rachel and Ozzie immediately. They manage several properties and I recommend booking with them if any are available. You won't be disappointed.

We enjoyed this home with our family of 10 on our recent visit to San Diego. Rachel was very accommodating and worked with us from our first contact. The swimming pool and spa were fantastic as was the outdoor bath house! We were proximally located to many of the places in the area that we wanted to see. I appreciated how responsive Rachel was to our questions. We enjoyed a great week and would make the trip from the Great Plains all over again!

We had a wonderful stay in San Diego! The house is very new, clean, and modern. The furnishings are thoughtful throughout, and the kitchen, in particular is great -- we wound up eating breakfast at the house every day. The location is also hard to beat. It's just a couple of blocks to the beach and very near the heart of La Jolla (many restaurants, shops, parks, and beaches). Our hosts were easy to communicate with throughout and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They were especially thoughtful about our young (4 year old) son. We would highly recommend staying here!

We stayed here for a month in late Fall and the pool and spa were a real treat! The house is beautiful and centrally located. The backyard was perfect for BBQs and pool weekends. Our hosts were friendly and very attentive! Highly recommend!

This was a first time using Airbnb and the experience was great! The house was gorgeous and in a perfect location within walking distance to the beach and a number of restaurants. We were traveling with our two young children (4 and 2) and the size and layout were ideal for our stay. Ozzy and Rachel were wonderful hosts for our stay.

This place is amazing! Though it's absolutely exquisite is has a modest feel. We were beyond comfortable and well accommodated. Very clean and gorgeous home decor. We travelled as a party of 6. My husband, myself and our 4 children ages 0-10. The home is a single level w a split floor plan in a wonderful neighborhood. The girls shared the front room w the queen bed. The boys had a great travel themed room w 2 twin beds. And our baby slept in the master w us. The location is excellent at the corner of Genter and La Jolla Blvd, the stroll to the beaches is scenic and only a few blocks away. Everything is close. The home offers outdoor living w a fantastic backyard, the children enjoyed it so much as did the adults. I could go on and on, this place is fabulous. All of our family that dropped in to visit us at home, they all commented on what a gorgeous home it is, very modern. There is nothing bad to say about this place, it is truly a 7 star accommodation. Our summer 2016 vacation is one to never forget. I have probably close to a thousand pictures of the amazing time we had. We went to Marine St beach, The La Jolla Cove, ate at Caroline's at the Seaside at La Jolla Shores, toured the Muirlands, caught a Chargers preseason game, travelled up to Carlsbad, experienced a glorious visit to Balboa Park. Truly one of the best vacations, we'll never forget it. Happy family vacation memories are made of places like this! We searched through 100's of options for accommodations for his vacation and we are so thankful of the blessing of having chosen this place. It was a tad bit more than we wanted to pay but worth every penny. We loved this place, really this place was the best! Exquisite. Don't hesitate to book this place, your expectations will be exceeded. Enjoy!!

It is a wonderful house. The owner and the manager are very nice and considerate. My family and I will stay with them again when next time we visit La Jolla.

So my family and I were displaced due to the flooding back in January. This house was our 3rd rental. All I have to say is this house was really clean, everything made us felt like we were at home and not a cheap motel. The pool and jacuzzi is awesome but it was too cold to swim. There were some issues but nothing Rachel and Ozzy couldn't deal with. They have to be the nicest property mgrs I have ever dealt with. This clairemont house is close to everything possible. The only thing that bothered me was being so close to the apartment complexes other than that, we would definitely rent this place again.

My husband and I enjoyed staying in this cozy home for three weeks. The rooms are very nice and clean and the kitchen is beautiful with granite counters, stainless appliances, and everything we needed to feel at home. The queen bed is quite comfortable. Our favorite part was sitting on the back patio by the pool and enjoying the mild San Diego winter weather. It's a quiet and relaxing spot and is easy to visit Balboa Park and Mission Beach. The managers were very welcoming and came promptly when we needed help when a spoon that got stuck in the disposal. We had a wonderful stay and will come back next year!

I was relocating from the east coast and needed a place to stay until I could buy a place. This studio was perfect. It was beautiful, clean, quiet, and private. It had a nice kitchen and bath and all of the little things, such as kitchen and glassware and an iron and ironing board. It was just a few minutes to the beaches, work at UCSD and the airport, and just seconds from every form of shopping. There was Wi-Fi in the unit and free laundry around back. Rachel and Ozzy were great people who offered tremendous, genuine hospitality.

I feel blessed to have met Rachel and her amazing family! My girlfriend and I were amazed by the hospitality and kindness. The Studio was perfect with everything you will need. It is clean and really nicely furnished. Rachel is a really aware and caring host, she has my biggest recommendations!
